hey I have been writting songs for a long time
Before I started posting on here I would post on my facebook profile, but only friends can see the posting and so posting on here is way better. One of my first post was of all the different songs that I wrote when I was young. I have written many more but these are the only ones that I can remember. I still love them they all bring back memories.
My songs
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Age 6 (this song was inspired because I had lost my teddy)
Teddy, teddy, where are you going?
Teddy, teddy where are you now?
I can see you here, I can see you there
but teddy where are you now?
(then it when on about the woods but cant remember that bit)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Age 8 (I was riding on the sofa cushion at the time)
Giddy up house you can do it house just keep riding along
Hurry up baby you can do it baby just keep crawling along
Trot along doggy you can do it doggy just keep waging your tail
Hurry up mummy, hurry up daddy just keep walking along…..
(then I came up with lots of them all the same song to the same tune but all used different words)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Age 12 (I wrote this song with three other girls, Christina Cuttell Sapphire Elia and Amy)
Life, Life, life,
Close your eyes and take a deep breath
Then open your eyes to the world around
see with your heart and not with your mouth
take your time and never give up
Because Life, life, life is a miracle
Life, life, life is imagination
Life, life, life is wonderfully…
Lonely people all around Sitting and waiting for something to happen
No direction not where to goThis time its gonna be fine
Life, life, life is a miracle
Life, life, life is imagination
Life, life, life is wonderfully…(pause)
Life, life, life is a fabulous
Life, life, life is mysteries
Life, life, life is magical…(pause)
Imagination runs through my mind Miracles happen all the time,
Imagination can it be blind This time its gonna be fine
Because Life, life, life is a miracle
Life, life, life is imagination
Life, life, life is wonderfully…(pause)
Life, life, life is a fabulous
Life, life, life is mysteries
Life, life, life is magical…(pause)
Imagination life

Age 11 (after I wanted to do one by myself)
One Chance
There comes a time in everyone life
There’s a decision to make and you don’t know what to say,
You wanta go but you don’t know if you should
Well I say you should get out there and achieve your dreams
Take your chances and make your mistakes
Find your thing and give it our all
Face your fears and never give up
There’s a world out there just waiting for you
Because You’ve got to go higher till you touch the sky
You gotta go faster till you feel the beat
You got to take it easy cause life’s a rollercoaster yehh!
You got one chance in a life time,
One chance in a life time to do what you want
To do before it too late.
Make a stand and believe in yourself
Our number one so make yourself shine
Life’s a mess but your not on your own
You should love to live not live to love
Don’t rely on your friends they not living your life
Enjoy your time just do things our way
You’ve got to take the good with the bad
Then find the fun, achieve your dreams
Then You’ve got to go higher till you touch the sky
You gotta go faster till you feel the beat
You got to take it easy cause life’s a rollercoaster yehh!
You got one chance in a life time,
One chance in a life time
To do what you want to do before it too late.
I know what want, I know what
you need Live to dream and dream to achieve
One thing at a time, things will work out
Know what you want, so make a good plan
Think things through, then give it your all.
Tell me, what are you waiting for.
BecauseYou’ve got to go higher till you touch the sky
You gotta go faster till you feel the beat
You got to take it easy cause life’s a rollercoaster yehh!
You got one chance in a life time,
One chance in a life time
To do what you want to do before it too late.
I’m going crzy till you make your mind
Crazy till I lose my mind about you.

How to have a successful music career as a singer
I am building up an album and so during this process i have released that artist who are successful have not just fallen in to fame they have worked really hard to get there. After starting my journey i have seen already that there is a soo much work that needs to be done, most of it is thinking of ways of advertising and promoting yourself (and then actually doing it) , but I will not rest until I am on MTV! thats my goal and i belive that if i stay focused at this then i will get there one day but it might take some time.
When I first started this work (about two moths ago) I thought I would just have to create a demo, sing in a few open mike sessions and then someone would sign me and do the rest, but it’s sooo not like that. I have found that I have had to do all the work myself as no one will help you at the beginning because you don’t have the profile and because you won’t make any money at the beginning I have found that you need to find ways to motivate yourself to keep working on this project.
To be successful you need to believe in your work and to believe that you can make a career out of it and I do believe that I can make it. I have wanted to be a singer for a long time now, but it’s hard. In my spare time I started to write my own songs and I would often find myself singing to them because they are all very chatty. I love them and if I can’t stop singing them then there’s a change that other people might feel the same way about them, but anyway from here I thought it would be a good idea to write down a list of things that need to be done to have a successful career. Currently I’m at Stage 6 and I hope to get a good vocal recording in about a week or two.
so....How to have a successful music career as a singer....
To have a great singer career you need lots of things:
1. A fan base and to get this you need to spend hours each day sending out lots offriend requests and to tell all the people you know and meet what you are doing andwhy they should support you.
2. You need to get everyone to know about you. You need to show your image and, therefore, your image needs to be interesting enough for people to care and take aninterest. You need them to get to know the ‘real’ you, but at the same time showthem sides of you that make you seem different and stand out from the crowd.
3. You need to make them feel like they are apart of your life (like Big Brother not allthe characters are liked and some people are falsely portrayed), but you get to knowthem and you see their journey.
4.. You need to get a good song (it’s so much better if you write the song yourself because you will save yourself so much money and you can talk about why you chose to sing what you did).
5. You need to practise over and over again. Try doing open mike and work on putting depth and varity into the songs,
6. You need to develop the songs, make many changes and get them perfect.
7. You need to get a good recording of the of the song.
8. You need to advertise your songs and get people to buy the songs online.9. You need to sing at more open mikes and in gigs and give out business cards to everyone who shows an interest in you or in your music.
10. You need to work on building up contacts and show your work to labels.
11. If you start doing lots of show and start making money you can then find a manager and pay them to help you in finding both more work and promote your work to other people who are successful in the music industry.
12. Once you have done this for a few months you will have made money by now so could go back and start developing the songs, changing them making them sound better or writing more songs.
13. You keep doing this until someone signs you or until you find someone who will invest their money into you so that you can start working with promotion companies
14. By this stage if your work is good and if you are lucky you will then be able to start touring with bands
15. The whole time you do this work your fan base will be building up and once you’ve made lots of money on shows and music sales you will then be able to make music videos and get your manger to try and get them to be played on MTV. If your music is liked then you will have a every successful sing career. Or if you want to make a really good music video you might be able to find someone who would invest a lot of money into you.
16. If you still love singing keep working and keep doing shows until you drop. And if fame goes to your head, don’t panic, create a false death then go and live in the middle of nowhere for 6 months, after that break you’ll be fine to continue doing what you were doing before you had the break down. Annd Woohoo!! You made the most of your life!
My Motivation to keep trying...:
One thing that has helped me is that I have bought four £2 physic reading off eBay and have asked them "if I go into the music business will I be successful?" and all of them have said that I will be very successful and two of them specifically said that I will make music videos and will get onto MTV and will make millions of pounds from my music and both of these physics said that they knew a lot about the music industry because one was in a band and the other studied Music Production for five years and they both said that they were surprised when they did the reading because they know how hard it is to make it in the industry.... But, any way, I’m not saying it will happen, but these readings have definitely given me the confidence to try harder and to put all my effort into the work.
